The Reptile Systems Gold Infrared Unit is an advanced heating solution designed to mimic the natural thermal radiation of the sun. It utilizes the latest infrared technology to deliver high levels of heat rich in Infrared A and Infrared B wavelengths. This deep-penetrating warmth supports an animal's natural thermoregulation, aids in digestion, and promotes overall well-being and activity without disrupting the essential day-night cycle.

This 400W model is engineered for high energy efficiency, providing substantial heat with very low visible light output, making it superior to traditional basking spot lamps for 24-hour use. A key operational requirement is the use of a dimming thermostat to ensure precise and safe temperature management within the enclosure. When switched off, the unit features a distinctive gold metallic sheen, giving the product its name.

This high-wattage infrared unit is the ideal primary heat source for keepers with large enclosures or terrariums. By providing warmth without bright light, it effectively reduces stress and allows for a natural circadian rhythm. It is perfect for those seeking to create a more naturalistic environment that supports the health and activity of their animals around the clock.
