The JBJ Arctica 1/2 HP Chiller is a high-performance cooling unit designed to maintain stable water temperatures in large saltwater and reef aquarium systems. It is a workhorse built to counteract the significant heat generated by powerful lighting, pumps, and high bioloads. This chiller actively prevents dangerous temperature spikes, ensuring a safe and consistent environment for sensitive marine life.

Engineered for durability and efficiency, this unit features a corrosion-resistant titanium heat exchanger that provides superior heat transfer, pulling down water temperature quickly and effectively. The easy-to-use digital controller is accurate to within one degree and maintains your set temperature without resetting during power flickers. It also includes a bright LED screen for easy reading and a built-in safety feature that shuts the unit off if water flow becomes too low, protecting both the chiller and your aquarium.

This chiller is the ideal solution for serious aquarists managing tanks up to 400 gallons, especially those with significant investments in sensitive corals and invertebrates. If your system runs hot due to heavy equipment demands, the JBJ Arctica 1/2 HP Chiller offers the reliability and peace of mind needed to protect your valuable livestock from the stress and danger of overheating.
