The Nyos ION-B CA/MG+ Liquid is a concentrated, ready-to-use solution designed to efficiently increase calcium and magnesium levels in modern reef aquariums. This pre-mixed supplement serves as the second part of the innovative ION-B method, working in tandem with the corresponding alkalinity solution to replenish essential elements consumed by corals and other marine life. By restoring these critical parameters, it supports robust skeletal growth and overall coral health while maintaining a stable chemical environment within the tank.

Beyond its primary function of boosting calcium and magnesium, this advanced formula also contains strontium, potassium, and boron to ensure comprehensive ion balancing and prevent long-term shifts in water chemistry. The system is engineered with a precise 1:7 ratio that mirrors natural biological consumption rates, allowing aquarists to dose equal parts of the alkalinity and calcium/magnesium solutions for optimal results. A single 2000 milliliter canister contains approximately 144,000 mg of calcium, providing a substantial volume for sustained dosing routines and helping to stabilize pH levels between 8.0 and 8.3 when used as directed.

This product is ideal for reef keepers seeking a simple, intuitive, and state-of-the-art method for managing their aquarium's water parameters without the complexity of traditional two-part mixing or kalkwasser reactors. It is particularly well-suited for hobbyists maintaining mixed reefs or SPS-heavy systems where consistent calcium uptake is vital. By integrating this supplement into a daily dosing regimen, aquarium owners can effectively replace consumed elements, prevent ion imbalance over time, and create a more stable foundation for thriving coral colonies.
