I have tried to use other Resins in the past but this works way better than any others I have tried

As soon as i change out my canister I order a new refill. This color changing resin makes it easy to see when you need to replace it. It is very simple to change. Unscrew, empty and refill. Thanks BRS for making it simple

I live in Gulfbreeze FL. At first my tds meter showed 30 to 40 ppm. Now if it reads 100 ppm that’s good. Most of the time it is 350+ ppm. So the deionization resin will not last as long as it did at first. If your water is bad the RO water comes out high on the tds. So DI will not last long.

Purchased a refill for a DI cartridge and was pleased to see there was plenty of resin in the bag to ensure I could pack it down well and not have any empty space in the cartridge.

I use this for the last stage in DI resin stage just to make sure all is well. BRS investigates videos are very helpful in determining what I need and should consider. I will buy again when my stock runs low!

This thing was super bulky. Musta weighed 7.5lbs. Bag was packed full of multi colored, resin-like beads. I was super impressed. Have to say the taste was less than amazing but I would buy again. 10/10!

I've been using this product for over a year. The resin gets really brown on just the bottom 1/6 sixth of the cartridge after maybe 75 gallons or so. It usually reads higher than 1 or 2. I remove the brown stuff and leave mostly blue. I get 0 TDS. So don't just toss the baby out with the bath water. Remove the brown stuff and roll with the blue.

I love this resin. My TDS was at 20 until i installed this to my existing RO system and it went down to 0. Very easy to install as well.

This is an excellent resin. Others try to get by with selling their resin in ziploc bags, but in spite of best efforts the resin dries out over time. The BRS resin is in a vacuum sealed pouch and it always super fresh and ready to do the job. Look no further.

It performs great, leaves my water clean and clear, easy to replace. It also last a long time.

Instead of buying them pre packed by BRS, you get way better of a deal if you buy the 7.5lb bag and do it yourself! It's a bit messy but well worth every cent filling your RODI this way instead of buying them pre loaded. I normally change my DI filters as soon I start looking loosing back pressure my gauges on 6 stage RODI unit thats been upgraded with two Membranes to a 7stage. Big fat thumbs up on this product...

This is a handy way to buy it. I don't go through pounds and pounds of this so a one-fill bag takes care of me for quite a while without any waste.

This resin works as expected, plus refilling your own cartridges is much less expensive than throwing them away and buying new cartridges each time.

In the past I purchased some resin via some internet company named after a river. While I saved about $5, the quality was nowhere near as good and it did not last as long as the BRS resin. Do yourself a favor, pick this up before purchasing an inferior quality product somewhere else.

Let me start by saying, I'm an old reefer. Took about an 8-9 year hiatus, but now I'm back. Needed to make some RODI so I broke out the old unit and hooked it up. Needed filters and came across some I purchased from BRS 8-9 years ago. Plugged in a particulate and carbon filter(still in the wrappers) and yes, had a bag of this mixed bed resin 8-9 years old, still in the original foil package, never opened. So I gave it a try, got roughly 18 hours of run time (didn't track gallons) before it was exhausted. I've since purchased (3) more bags and have run thru a second bag, got roughly 26 hours out of it. Have to admit, I'm pretty impressed with the shelf life, really didn't expect to get anything.

Easy to use... When the color changes from blue to brown all the way to the top, its time to change it out. Make sure you tap the container on a hard surface to pack it down. The tighter you can pack it the better it will work.

Love this product especially for the color changing feature. I get about 300 gallons out of a single canister before it produces 1 TDS which is fine as I have dual canisters. I just simply switch canister 2 into canister one place and change out media and place new media in canister 2 place run for about 5 mins and you have perfect water.

If you have a reef and are concerned with your water, you need this stuff. I prefer the color changing to any other version because it visually lets you see when you are spent vs. wondering if you need to change your resin or not. A must have for any reefer with an RODI system.

If you like to save money this is 100% the route to go with!! I was buying the SpectraPure® SilicaBuster DI Cartridge - Color-Indicating (DI-SB-CI-10) from Marine depot until I came across this product at BRS.. I dont know about your in coming water but i HAVE TO change out my DI ever 3 to 4 months ballpark. So I have decided to give this BRS bulk DI color resign a try and I am so happy that I did b/c I am saving a lot of money going this route instead buying them already preloaded. One of the better products that BRS makes!!! HIGHLY recommended...

I used to purchase bulk DI resin from a local shop. They kept raising the price and the net volume of DI resin kept decreasing. The last refill only filled up 3/4's of the canister. So I purchased some DI resin from BRS and the canister is now packed to the brim. Well packaged and the quality is excellent. The locally purchased resin only lasted for 10 gallons ro/di water. I expect this resin will last significantly longer with better water quality...........................Jim

Works perfectly, definitely tamp the resin down as you load the cartridge. I just use the bottom of a small bottle of prime to pack it in. That'll give you even usage from the bottom up.

This stuff works great for getting you great water quality. The price is also hard to beat. This is the only DI Resin I use!

Does what it is supposed to. 2-3 TDS from dual membrane. Zero TDS after first DI stage. More than enough to pack your cartridge full.

This product is number one in the industry and I don't use anything else. Kudos to BRS in carrying this product and being able to ship it same day or next. I recommend you keep left over product in a plastic bag in the fridge until you need to reorder.

This stuff works great. I know BRS says it will last up to 6 months in the vacuum sealed bag, but it lasts way longer than that. I have had mine for more than 8 months and it is still effective. I run 2 DI chambers on my unit and it lasts a while and I get 0 TDS from my unit with the BRS color changing resin.

This is the only deionizer resin I buy. It is packaged well, and is the best price I have found.

Just received a new DI resin bag and it's packed and shipped well. I added it to my unit and instantly back at 0 TDS. The color changing is great and gives you and idea as to when it needs to be changed. No nonsense. Just works.

I have purchased the larger 7.5 Lb and it refills your DI cartridge at least 6 times with a little left. The color change starts from the bottom, moving up so you know when its getting time to change. I always purchase my DI from BRS as I use their RODI unit also. Product is very consistent as is shipping. Can't go wrong here.

Ordered this to refill my DI resin container. It was just the right amount. Very easy to tell when it is exhausted.

Very well packaged. I recommend refilling on a clean table outside. I got a few resin balls loose in the kitchen. There a little hard to clean up. Excellent product and it was more than enough to fill my can.

it only gives me 100 gallons 0 tds but i have 12tds going in and co2 but shounds like a good ammount

I have been using BRS color changing resin for several years, and it brings my well water to 0 TDS. Highly recommend!

Works as mentioned. I wish I could get more life out of it, but chemistry is what it is. It all depends on your tap water quality. As soon as the color completely changes to gold, I see the TDS start to creep up. I generally get a 150 gallons of usable water from hard water after a water softener. I can't attest to the raw water quality's impact on the resin's effect or life though.

This is the first time using this product and it seems to work as advertised.
