The Aquawind Eco Chic Aquarium Fan is an efficient and quiet cooling solution for both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. It works by creating an even air movement above the water surface, accelerating evaporation to effectively reduce aquarium temperatures by 2 to 4° Celsius (3.6° to 7.2° F), maintaining optimal conditions for aquatic life. This energy-efficient fan consumes only 1.7W and operates safely with 12V DC low voltage, making it IP57 water resistant. It's designed for easy installation, mounting on glass up to 22mm (0.866") thick, and features tilt adjustment for precise airflow direction. Its special design allows a single fan to provide targeted cooling over long distances, even for large aquariums up to 800 liters (211 USgal.). It comes with a 15-foot power cord and a 5-year warranty. Ideal for reef hobbyists and freshwater enthusiasts seeking a low-noise, eco-friendly, and highly effective way to manage aquarium temperatures without the need for a full chiller. Its simple installation, low power consumption, and ability to cool larger tanks with a single unit make it a smart choice for maintaining a stable and thriving aquatic environment.

Decent little fan, maybe a little pricey. Have it set up with our APEX and seems to be working well.
Saw that the reviews were split... wanted to add my two cents. Super quiet -- inaudible. Installed as a vent fan for my closed hood -- dropped internal overwater temp by at least 8-10 degrees versus four full size radions. It was too hot in there! I'm running a 220 reef in Texas without a chiller. I'm ordering a second one, to do even more. Love that it's DC -- didn't like having AC stuff that close to my tank's water in the past. True that it's not amazingly powerful, but a little-engine-that-could sort of workhorse, IMOP.
I bought the Aquawind Eco Chic Aquarium Fan last year (2023) for my saltwater tank. It lowers the temperature by several degrees, and I no longer use my chiller (my house is not air conditioned). The fan mounts easily, and is super quiet. I bought a second Aquawind fan this year for my freshwater tank. Of note, the first fan that I received right out of the box for some reason did not work. I contacted BRS, and they shipped me a replacement fan (no charge) that day; thank you BRS. That said, the fan is Made in Germany, and carries a five year warranty.
The fan is built solid and it mounts are awesome , it’s super quiet and low profile. My major complaint is the power of the fan just does not seem much for the price it does not seem to be as powerful as I would have thought. Would I recommend yes and no yes because it is built solid and it may work for some applications and it has a really good warranty. No because it is not worth 120.00 for what you get
