The ZooMed AquaSun Quad T5 HO Hood is a high-performance lighting solution designed to deliver powerful, customizable illumination for your saltwater aquarium. This 24-inch fixture houses four high-output T5 lamps, giving you the ability to create the perfect spectrum for vibrant coral growth and stunning coloration. Its sleek, low-profile aluminum housing is both durable and rust-free, making it a reliable centerpiece for your aquatic display.

Engineered for performance and convenience, this hood features dual high-output electronic ballasts and a highly polished internal reflector to maximize lumen output and direct light deep into your tank. Dual switches provide greater control over your lighting, allowing for separate day and night cycles or custom color blending. For easy maintenance, the unit includes hinged mounting brackets for quick tank access and a clear splash guard to protect the lamps. A wire cable suspension kit is also included for versatile mounting options, though please note that T5 HO bulbs are not included.

This lighting system is ideal for both new and experienced reef aquarists who appreciate the proven results and color-rendering capabilities of T5 technology. Hobbyists looking to upgrade from less powerful lighting or those who want precise control over their light spectrum will find this quad-lamp fixture incredibly versatile. Its capacity for custom bulb combinations makes it perfect for achieving the specific PAR and aesthetic desired for growing anything from soft corals to more demanding SPS corals in a small to medium-sized reef tank.
