The ZooMed AquaLog Sinking Fish Shelter offers a realistic and functional hiding place for your aquarium inhabitants. Designed to look like a natural, hollowed-out log, this piece of decor provides a secure retreat for shy or territorial fish, helping to reduce stress and encourage natural behaviors. It sinks immediately upon placement and integrates seamlessly into any freshwater or saltwater aquascape, enhancing the overall aesthetic of your tank.

This 5.75-inch medium shelter is manufactured from a 100% eco-friendly plant resin, ensuring it is completely safe for all aquarium life, including sensitive fish, invertebrates, and corals. Its textured surface is intentionally designed to provide an excellent area for the growth of beneficial algae and biofilm. This not only adds to the natural look over time but also serves as a supplemental food source for grazing species within your aquarium.

This AquaLog is an excellent choice for aquarists with small to medium-sized fish that appreciate having a cave or burrow to call their own. It is particularly beneficial for species like gobies, blennies, clownfish, and small wrasses, giving them a dedicated space to rest and feel protected. Aquascapers will also appreciate its authentic appearance, which helps in creating a visually stunning and biologically functional underwater environment.
