The Zoomed African Mopani Wood Large (16"-18") is a stunning two-color African hardwood designed to enrich and beautify your aquarium or terrarium. This exceptional aquascaping element introduces a naturalistic aesthetic to any habitat, providing both visual interest and environmental enrichment for your aquatic inhabitants.

Known for its remarkable density and hardness, Mopani Wood sinks immediately upon placement, eliminating the need for extensive pre-soaking to achieve submersion. Each piece features a smooth surface, intricate textured details, and a unique mottled color pattern. This durable wood is sandblasted clean and, unlike many other driftwood types, is highly resistant to rotting, ensuring a long-lasting and stable addition to your setup. Each piece measures approximately 16 to 18 inches in length.

This Mopani Wood is ideal for aquarists looking to create a vibrant, naturalistic environment with live plants and hardscape. While natural wood will leach tannins, which can tint water and slightly lower pH, this effect can be minimized by pre-soaking and utilizing activated carbon in your filtration system. Its immediate sinking property and rot resistance make it a superior choice for both new and established aquarium setups, offering a hassle-free and visually striking aquascaping foundation.
