The EcoTech Marine Radion High Intensity Lens Kit is a specialized accessory designed to modify the light output from your XR30 G5 or G6 LED fixture. This kit includes a single lens that narrows the light's beam angle, concentrating its energy into a smaller area. The primary function is to increase Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR) and improve light penetration, effectively driving more powerful light deeper into the aquarium.
By focusing the light output, the High Intensity Lens Kit increases PAR values significantly within its coverage area while reducing the total spread and minimizing light spillage outside the tank. This makes it a powerful tool for achieving specific lighting goals in advanced reef aquariums. The kit is fully compatible with both the G5 and G6 generations of the Radion XR30, ensuring a seamless fit and optimal performance with your existing high-end lighting system.
This lens kit is not intended for every aquarium but is an invaluable tool for specific applications. It is ideal for hobbyists with deep tanks (over 24 inches) who need to ensure sufficient light intensity reaches corals at the bottom. It is also perfectly suited for aquariums where the Radion fixtures must be mounted high above the water's surface, as it compensates for the increased distance by focusing the light beam and ensuring maximum energy reaches your corals.

Love this lens kit. I have a Red Sea Reefer G2 200, and paired it with a Ecotech Radion G6 XR30. Using AB+ schedule, at 100% schedule intensity, par at the top of the scape would be around 350 to 400. And the spread of the light would illuminate a huge area around the aquarium. Changed the lens kit to this, and PAR went up quite a fair bit. I had to lower the schedule intensity to 60% and PAR was easily above 400. Less light spread outside of the aquarium, but that's a good thing for my application / use case. Wife is happy, I'm happy, corals are happy. What more can I ask for? A million dollars; I can still ask for a million dollars.
Not sure why the lenses are still frosted (a few in the middle are not). Doesn't make sense for a "high intensity" focused light system.
