This replacement VorTech driver board serves as a direct upgrade for your existing MP10Q, MP40Q, or MP60Q powerheads to enable modern connectivity features. The unit comes preloaded with Mobius firmware allowing you to seamlessly connect your pump to the Mobius app for advanced flow management and customization options. It is designed specifically to replace the older controller boards found in EcoTech Marine VorTech models without requiring a full pump replacement.

Key specifications include an integrated RF module that supports Bluetooth wireless control while retaining on device controls for manual adjustments. Please note that this specific driver cannot be downgraded to ESL firmware and is intended exclusively for use with the Mobius ecosystem rather than EcoSmart Live systems. The package includes only the board itself so you must have your existing powerhead housing available during the installation process.

This upgrade is ideal for reef aquarium hobbyists looking to extend the life of their current flow equipment while gaining access to smart home integration capabilities. Installation involves removing the back cover and swapping the circuit board but requires care to avoid static damage by keeping electronics off carpeted surfaces. With proper handling this component restores full functionality and brings older pumps up to date with current reef tank control standards.
