The EcoTech Marine Vortech MP IntelliCovers are high-flow safety covers designed to replace the stock wet-side cover on your VorTech MP-series pump. These precision-engineered covers provide essential protection for your valuable livestock without compromising the pump's powerful performance or the aesthetic appeal of your reef aquarium. They are available for EcoTech Marine VorTech MP10, MP40, and MP60 models. Manufactured in the USA from American-made, reef-safe black plastics, IntelliCovers are built for durability and safety. Unlike many aftermarket alternatives, their unique design maximizes pump intake surface area, ensuring unimpeded water throughput and preventing detritus accumulation common with sponge-type covers. The smooth surface also helps reduce algae growth, maintaining a clean look. These covers securely lock to the wet-side, just like original VorTech covers, eliminating the risk of accidental detachment that can harm both livestock and pump impellers. Ideal for any reef aquarist utilizing EcoTech Marine VorTech MP pumps, these IntelliCovers offer peace of mind by safeguarding inhabitants from impeller intake while preserving optimal water flow. Their robust construction and secure locking mechanism provide a reliable, long-term solution for enhanced aquarium safety and pump longevity. For easy maintenance, the covers are simple to remove and clean, ensuring your pump continues to operate efficiently and safely.
