The UNS Mini Refugium Light is a compact, dedicated lighting fixture designed specifically to transform small rear chambers or sump sections into productive environments for macroalgae growth. By providing consistent and targeted illumination, this light supports the healthy development of Chaetomorpha and other beneficial algae, enabling your refugium to effectively perform its role in natural nutrient export within a saltwater aquarium filtration system.

This unit features a simple yet secure clip-on mounting arm that accommodates glass or acrylic thicknesses up to 21 mm, making it ideal for various tank setups. The fixture includes an integrated inline controller that allows users to easily adjust light intensity, select from eight color options ranging from F01 to F08, and manage timer settings through a versatile schedule mode or always-on function. Constructed with IP63 water resistance, the light ensures safe operation in humid environments and comes with a magnetic holder for convenient placement on aquarium stands.

This lighting solution is best suited for reef hobbyists seeking an efficient way to maximize the filtration potential of their sump without investing in complex or oversized equipment. It is perfect for those who want to maintain healthy macroalgae populations to naturally reduce nitrates and phosphates while benefiting from a user-friendly interface that requires no external app or advanced programming knowledge.
