Tropic Marin NP-Bacto-Pellets 1000 ml is an innovative, biodegradable filter media designed for the effective removal of nitrates and phosphates in saltwater reef aquariums. By maintaining naturally low nutrient levels, this product helps create an optimal environment where corals can display their brightest, most vibrant colors and achieve vigorous growth. It works by promoting a balanced ecosystem essential for the health and vitality of your reef inhabitants.

These easy-to-use pellets are crafted from a unique mixture of natural biopolymers, which actively encourage the colonization and growth of beneficial nitrate and phosphate-removing bacteria, alongside other aerobic microorganisms. The resulting valuable biomass then serves as a natural food source for various filter feeders within the aquarium, or it can be efficiently skimmed off by a protein skimmer. Their compact size makes them perfectly suited for deployment in fluidized bed filters or specialized pellet reactors, ensuring continuous and efficient nutrient reduction. Bacterial colonization begins very quickly upon introduction and continues on an ongoing basis for sustained performance.

This product is best suited for reef aquarists dedicated to achieving and maintaining pristine water quality and enhanced coral health. It is ideal for hobbyists who want to naturally reduce problematic nitrates and phosphates, thereby preventing nuisance algae and promoting spectacular coral coloration and accelerated growth. Those seeking a convenient, long-lasting, and highly effective solution for nutrient export will find the NP-Bacto-Pellets an indispensable addition to their filtration regimen.
