Tropic Marin Cyo-Control is a specialized treatment designed to effectively and safely eliminate cyanobacteria, often referred to as red slime algae, in saltwater aquariums. It works by creating specific biological conditions that inhibit the growth of cyanobacteria without using antibiotics or other harmful chemicals. This targeted approach promotes a healthier microbial balance within the reef ecosystem, allowing corals and other beneficial organisms to thrive without being smothered by unsightly bacterial mats.

This 500mL formula is highly concentrated and easy to dose, making it suitable for a wide range of aquarium sizes. Cyo-Control operates by stimulating the growth of competing, beneficial microorganisms that naturally outcompete cyanobacteria for available nutrients. The treatment is safe for all reef inhabitants, including sensitive corals, invertebrates, and fish, when used as directed. Its antibiotic-free composition ensures it will not harm the aquarium's essential biological filter bacteria, preserving the stability of the nitrogen cycle.

Cyo-Control is an essential tool for any reef aquarist struggling with a persistent cyanobacteria outbreak. It is particularly beneficial for hobbyists who prefer a natural, biological solution over harsh chemical treatments or antibiotics that can have unintended negative consequences on the aquarium's delicate ecosystem. Whether you are dealing with a new outbreak or a recurring issue, this product provides a reliable and reef-safe method to restore the pristine appearance and biological health of your display tank.
