SpectraPure Mixed Bed Color-Indicating SuperDI Cartridge by Spectrapure - RO/DI Systems

Description

The SpectraPure Mixed Bed Color-Indicating SuperDI Cartridge is a premium deionization filter designed to produce ultra-pure water for saltwater reef aquariums. This final stage cartridge works with your existing RO/DI system to remove any remaining total dissolved solids (TDS) and all ionized impurities from your source water. The result is laboratory-grade, 18 meg-ohm purity water, which is essential for preventing nuisance algae and maintaining a stable environment for sensitive corals and invertebrates.

This high-capacity cartridge boasts 33% more removal capacity than standard mixed-bed DI cartridges, offering longer life and better value. Its proprietary high-flow, low-pressure design ensures maximum water production without sacrificing purity. A key feature is the color-indicating resin, which changes color as it becomes exhausted, providing a clear visual cue for when replacement is needed. The standard 2.5" x 10" housing is interchangeable with most residential and aquarium RO/DI systems, including those from Kent Marine, BRS, and AWI, and it arrives in aluminized packaging to prevent resin degradation before use.

This SuperDI cartridge is perfect for the discerning reef aquarist who demands zero TDS water and wants a reliable, long-lasting deionization solution. It is especially beneficial for hobbyists in areas with high TDS source water or for those maintaining large systems where cartridge life is a primary concern. The convenient color-changing feature eliminates the guesswork of cartridge replacement, making it an excellent choice for both new and experienced reef keepers seeking to simplify their water purification maintenance routine.
