Description
The SpectraPure CSPDI 2:1 Manual Flush 180 GPD System is a professional-grade, four-stage reverse osmosis deionization unit designed to produce ultra-pure water for discerning saltwater aquarium hobbyists. This low-waste system is engineered to efficiently remove up to 99% of contaminants, including chlorine, sediment, silicates, and dissolved solids, delivering 000 TDS water essential for the health of sensitive corals and marine life. It provides a reliable and consistent source of purified water, forming the ideal foundation for mixing saltwater and topping off for evaporation.
This high-capacity system features dual individually tested, 99% ultra-high-rejection SpectraSelect™Plus RO membranes that work in tandem to produce up to 180 gallons per day. The filtration process includes a 0.5 micron sediment pre-filter, a 0.5 micron carbon block pre-filter, and a final Super-DI™ SilicaBuster™ high-capacity deionization cartridge. A key feature is the manual membrane flush system, which preserves membrane life and maintains an efficient 2:1 waste-to-product ratio. For complete quality control, an integrated 3-probe TDS meter monitors water purity at the membrane feed, membrane output, and final DI output, ensuring optimal performance at all times.
This RO/DI system is perfect for serious reef keepers with medium to large aquariums who require a significant volume of consistently pure water. Its low-waste ratio makes it an economical and environmentally friendly choice for daily use, reducing water consumption compared to standard units. The comprehensive package, which includes a feed valve, automatic shut-off valve, float valve, and pressure gauge, provides aquarists with a complete, ready-to-install solution for achieving and maintaining pristine water quality right out of the box.
