The Aquatic Life Smart Buddie RO/DI Booster Pump is an essential upgrade designed to optimize the performance of your 150 GPD reverse osmosis or RO/DI water purification system. This intelligent pump addresses common issues of low home water pressure, which can significantly hinder filtration efficiency and water quality. By actively boosting the system's operational pressure, it ensures your RO/DI unit functions at its peak, delivering purer water faster and more effectively for your saltwater aquarium needs. This booster pump is engineered to elevate your RO system's pressure up to an optimal 80-100 PSI, resulting in increased water production and superior contaminant rejection rates. Key features include an automatic flush function that extends the lifespan of your RO membrane, as well as integrated high and low-pressure safety switches to protect your system from damage. Installation is made simple with convenient quick-connect Buddie Fit press-fittings. It is compatible with single 150 GPD membranes or dual 75 GPD membranes in a water saver setup, and includes easy-to-read LED indicators for system status. Please note, this unit is not intended for use with refrigerators, ice makers, or pressure tanks. Ideal for saltwater aquarium enthusiasts using 150 GPD RO or RO/DI systems who are experiencing slow water production, inefficient filtration, or rapid DI resin depletion due to insufficient incoming water pressure. By ensuring consistent, high operating pressure, the Smart Buddie helps reduce wastewater by up to 65% and minimizes DI resin consumption, saving you money and maintenance time. This pump is crucial for maintaining the precise water parameters vital for a thriving reef environment, making it an invaluable addition for serious hobbyists seeking reliable and high-quality purified water.
