The Bashsea Twisted Skimmer 6-24 is a high-performance, external beckett-style protein skimmer engineered for exceptional power and efficiency in saltwater aquariums. It utilizes a powerful air injection method to create a dense foam that actively removes dissolved organic compounds, fish waste, and other pollutants from the water column. This process is crucial for maintaining pristine water quality, promoting coral health, and preventing nuisance algae outbreaks by exporting nutrients before they can break down.

The skimmer's superior performance stems from its patent-pending injection and mixing system combined with a full-body reaction chamber. This innovative design significantly increases the contact time between air bubbles and water, maximizing nutrient removal. The Model 6-24 is rated for total system water volumes up to 100 gallons and requires an external feed pump with a flow rate between 800 and 1000 GPH. Its robust construction includes a 1-inch water inlet and drain to ensure unrestricted flow and peak operational efficiency.

This protein skimmer is ideal for the dedicated reef aquarist seeking uncompromising filtration for a heavily stocked or sensitive reef system up to 100 gallons. Its powerful beckett design is perfect for hobbyists who prioritize maximum waste export to achieve ultra-low nutrient conditions. For optimal and consistent performance, regular cleaning of the beckett injector is recommended, ensuring your aquarium environment remains stable and healthy for years to come.
