The Tunze Comline DOC Skimmer 9012 is a compact and powerful in-sump protein skimmer designed to efficiently remove dissolved organic compounds from marine aquariums. It operates on the Tunze Flash Skimming Principle, which ensures a high-yield foam production without long reaction times, resulting in a highly effective and immediate removal of waste proteins and other pollutants from your tank's water column. This process helps to maintain crystal clear water, stabilize pH, and create a healthier environment for all of your aquatic inhabitants.

Engineered for quiet and reliable performance, this skimmer boasts a low energy consumption of just 13 watts while drawing approximately 400 liters of air per hour. Its space-saving design, with dimensions of 140 x 110 x 415 mm, allows it to fit comfortably in most sumps, requiring an immersion depth between 255 and 285 mm. The unit includes a 0.7-liter skimmer cup for easy waste collection and features a Silence Magnet Holder for secure mounting on glass up to 15 mm thick, minimizing operational noise and vibration transfer to the aquarium.

This skimmer is an excellent choice for hobbyists with saltwater aquariums ranging from 200 to 1,200 liters (53 to 317 US gallons), depending on the bioload. Its versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of systems, from moderately stocked fish-only tanks to heavily loaded reef aquariums. If you are looking for a dependable, energy-efficient, and quiet skimmer from a reputable manufacturer that delivers consistent performance without occupying a large footprint, the Comline DOC Skimmer 9012 is an ideal solution.
