The 10-inch by 4.5-inch sediment filter is designed to remove larger particles from water before it enters your reverse osmosis (RO) system or can be used alone for effective filtration. With a 20-micron rating, this filter traps sediments and debris that could clog finer filters down the line, such as a 1-micron sediment filter. It is recommended to replace the filter after about five cleanings to maintain optimal performance.
