The Screen Top Feeding Portal V2 is an essential accessory designed to enhance convenience for reef aquarium hobbyists utilizing mesh screen lids. This innovative portal provides a secure and efficient solution for feeding your aquatic inhabitants, completely eliminating the need to remove your tank’s cover during feeding times. It ensures that the integrity of your screen netting and frame remains uncompromised, maintaining a secure environment for your livestock.
Key features include a simple, quick installation process that works with all common mesh screen aquarium lids, and a minimal visual impact on your tank’s aesthetic. installing these is a breeze. They have a lot of uses and they work well for those situations. However, the “handle” you use to open the portal will easily break, the screws/plastic will break, and it honestly doesn’t fit back into place well. Very cool idea. Very poor quality.
I purchased this product, and installation was quick and straightforward. However, over time, the screws and rings started to break easily, which was quite disappointing.
However it doesn't last long, broke up in pieces shortly after.
I have bought two of these so far. On one hand, I love the concept. On the other, I had to replace it because it broke after a few months. Maybe there is a better material to print it with? Great idea, garbage product.
I've found that having this little portal has made lots of little tasks easier every day. However, it's five months old and it's broken in three places. Sadly, 3d printed stuff snaps and cracks so easily. It's brittle and weak.
Must have if you have a screen top. Makes life easier when feeding or testing water parameters.
We have the Fluval Evo 13.5 and recently added the red Sea diy lid with mesh and this feeding portal is the cherry on top! The only thing I wish, is that you guys had a location out of Canada. Still worth the additional added cost!
Picked up one for each tank after seeing it on the black friday shows. I hated lifting my lid every time I wanted to add frozen or liquid food so it was a no brainer. Installed both in a couple minutes and I haven't had to lift the lid for feeding since.
