This 20-micron washable sediment prefilter is designed to be used in front of your Reverse Osmosis unit or can be utilized independently for heavy sediment loading. It effectively captures larger particles before they reach the more delicate filtration stages, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of downstream filters like the 1 micron pre-filter. When you notice a pressure drop of about 5 PSI, it is time to clean or replace this filter.
