The Skimz RK2 10AC is a commercial-grade foam fractionator designed to bring professional-level water purification to lower flow rate applications. Built upon nearly three decades of engineering experience, this protein skimmer utilizes a true counter-current design to maximize contact time between air bubbles and water. This process efficiently removes dissolved organic compounds, resulting in superior water clarity and a healthier environment for your aquatic inhabitants. It is engineered to withstand the most demanding applications, offering unparalleled performance and reliability.

The latest model of the RK2 10AC features significant upgrades, including new 1.5-inch venturi plumbing with a matching 1.5-inch injector to dramatically increase airflow into the reaction chamber. To power this enhancement, the skimmer now includes a robust 1/8 HP injector pump, which delivers improved performance while maintaining power consumption levels comparable to a Vectra L2 pump. For simplified upkeep, RK2 has integrated both an internal and an external washdown system, ensuring the collection cup remains clean and maintenance is effortless.

This protein skimmer is the ideal choice for dedicated home hobbyists, aquarium professionals, and aquaculture specialists who require uncompromising performance in a compact, commercial-quality unit. Its robust construction and design, based on proven science and volume metrics, make it a top-tier solution for maintaining pristine water conditions in heavily stocked or sensitive reef systems. If you are looking for a reliable, powerful, and easy-to-maintain skimmer built for the long haul, the RK2 10AC is an exceptional investment.
