The Regal 250INT Protein Skimmer is an innovative in-sump filtration system designed to provide powerful and efficient organic waste removal for saltwater aquariums up to 600 gallons. This high-performance skimmer effectively concentrates and removes organic rich foam, ensuring pristine water quality for demanding reef environments.

Constructed from high-quality cast acrylic, the Reef Octopus Regal 250INT features a hybrid conical body that naturally stabilizes and optimizes foam production, and it fully disassembles for easy and thorough cleaning. It is equipped with a new generation Reef Octopus controllable Direct Current (DC) VarioS-6S pinwheel skimmer pump, offering advanced variable speed flow technology with five different operational speeds. This allows for precise electronic control over air and water flow rates, enhancing performance and efficiency, and includes a float switch connection for an added security feature that can shut off the pump if the waste collector is full.

This skimmer is ideal for serious reef hobbyists with large aquariums up to 600 gallons who have ample sump space and demand superior filtration performance. It is particularly suited for those who value refined control over their equipment, appreciate the energy efficiency of DC pumps, and benefit from advanced safety features like the included float switch connection.
