The Regal 250EXT External Protein Skimmer is a high-performance filtration device specifically engineered for saltwater reef aquariums. As an external model, it efficiently removes organic waste, proteins, and other undesirable compounds from the water column, significantly contributing to crystal clear water and a healthier aquatic environment for corals and fish. Its robust design ensures reliable operation and superior waste extraction.

This skimmer features the innovative VarioS pump and controller, offering refined control over its operation. The VarioS controller provides five distinct speed settings and includes a convenient float switch connection with an included float switch for added security against overflow or low water levels. It also boasts two pause/feed modes, allowing the pump to shut off for 15 or 60 minutes, perfect for feeding or maintenance. A standout feature is the 0-10v input, enabling seamless integration and intricate programming with third-party system controllers such as Neptune System's APEX or Reef Angel. The VarioS pump further ensures longevity and quiet operation with its true slow startup, gradually ramping up over approximately 10 seconds. This product is manufactured by Reef Octopus.

The Regal 250EXT External Protein Skimmer is ideally suited for advanced reef aquarists and enthusiasts who demand unparalleled precision and automation in their filtration systems. Its advanced VarioS controller, particularly the 0-10v input for system controller integration, makes it an excellent choice for those looking to build a fully automated and finely tuned reef tank.
