The Reef Octopus VarioS 2S is a high-performance, controllable DC water pump specifically engineered to power a range of Reef Octopus protein skimmers. This pump is the heart of your skimmer, responsible for drawing in both water and air to create the fine micro-bubbles essential for pulling dissolved organic waste out of your aquarium water. Its advanced design ensures quiet operation and reliable performance, providing the foundation for superior water quality and a healthier reef environment.

This pump delivers a powerful combination of efficiency and control, with a maximum water flow of 238 gallons per hour and an impressive air draw of 900 liters per hour, all while consuming only 25 watts of power. Its compact dimensions of 4.75 by 5.7 inches allow it to fit seamlessly within compatible skimmer bodies. The included controller enhances functionality with features like multiple pause durations for feeding, a float switch safety input to prevent overflows, and a 0-10v port for integration with third-party aquarium controllers for centralized system management.

The VarioS 2S DC Skimmer Pump is the ideal choice for aquarists seeking to replace a worn-out pump or upgrade the performance of their existing compatible skimmer. It is designed as a direct replacement for models such as the Diablo DCS 150int, Classic 150int, SRO 2000int, and Regal 150 series skimmers. This pump is perfect for the hobbyist who values precise control, energy efficiency, and the quiet, consistent operation needed to maintain a pristine saltwater ecosystem.
