The Reef Octopus OCTO Protein Skimmer Cleaner 200 Neck Cleaner is designed to wipe clean the neck of compatible Reef Octopus protein skimmers automatically. Build up in the neck causes foam to stick to the sides which restricts the collection of skimmate within the skimmer cup. Preventing buildup within the skimmer neck will greatly increase efficiency and maintain optimal water quality for your reef aquarium system.

This cleaner uses twin squeegees to automatically remove the buildup from a skimmer neck without manual intervention required. The ANC Lid consists of a high torque low RPM motor, wiper mount, lid with mounting clamps and the squeegees for reliable operation. To operate this easy to use device, you simply plug the unit into a timer or aquarium controller and set it to run for a few minutes 4 to 6 times per day.

This accessory is best for owners of specific Classic and Regal models who seek to automate maintenance tasks effectively. Compatible protein skimmers include the Classic 202 S, Classic 200 INT, Classic 200 EXT, SRO 3000INT, SRO 3000EXT, Regal 200 S and Regal 200 INT units. Please note that this unit is not ozone safe and requires a controller or timer to operate as constant use is not necessary for best results.
