The EcoTech Marine Radion XR30 G5 and G6 diffuser upgrade enhances the lighting performance of your existing Radion LED light, offering improved color blending and more even spread. This diffuser installs in minutes via magnets, making it easy to attach or remove for maintenance purposes. It is compatible with both G5 and G6 models of the XR30 light. By reducing shadows and shimmer effects commonly associated with LED lights, this upgrade helps create a more natural environment within your saltwater aquarium, supporting better coral health and growth.

I bought these really only for the diffusion of light when I am looking at the tank while sitting on the couch or a chair. The lights can be bright and tough to look at the tank when ramped all the way up. They could not be any easier to install and I have plenty of par so not worried about the par loss since I run the lights at 50% anyways. Is this necessary I don't think so but do they make the tank more enjoyable to look at? yes 100%
The diffuser did reduce 20 par but tank look GREAT after install. No more disco effect.
