It is a simple set that includes a set of wires and joints that you attach to the ceiling with two screws. The instruction was clear and it did not take long to install. I used a simple plumb line to determine the center of my aquarium and then the included paper pattern to mark dots for the screws on the ceiling. You will need a wire cutter to cut the excess wire. It attaches to Radion X15 with 4 screws, same as those included with the light. The joints make it very easy to level the light with no risk of it falling down in process. As some other reviewers pointed, the electric wire of the light itself pulls it slightly off center, but this can easily be adjusted. I taped the wire to the aquarium with a piece of duck tape, leaving some slack. I recommend this product although I think it is somewhat overpriced.

No complaints it's easy to install, working great love to hang rather than hang off the tank. It doesn't even move. Works great for my use.

The kit is nice and appears to have top quality hardware. It only fits on the xr30 on the short side. If you are hanging your light the other direction it won't work unless you buy multiple kits so you can hang from both of the short sides. The AI kit does fit, and includes drywall anchors for the top. But the eyelets on this kit are a little nicer

Kit is very easy to assemble, I had ecotech bracket system that was getting caked with salt so I changed. Sleeker look and can be moved up when you have to work on tank. Only caveat is hanging from ceiling has to be accurate or it looks terrible. Measure well use plumb bob to get visual sense. Also really important to make sure unit is level when assessing it. You'll think holes in ceiling are off but it will look strange if lights are not level from front and side.

The solution to not have the power cords pull the light off center is to make sure there is no tension. This is accomplished by securing the power cord near the top of the aquarium lip. For me this kit worked great. I tried finding something else like it, but it's hard to make it this clean looking and elegant. These Radions make my corals grow. AI Hydra did not!

As others have noted - the weight of the power cords pulls the lights off center. You can do all the work in the world to make sure the light is centered over your tank but the weight of the cord will constantly pulll you lights off center. The Radion Lights are great...two bad I am thinking about selling them and getting an AI Hydra set up due to their EXT Tank Mount solution

So Ecotech could stand some work when it comes to writing instructions. For example, if you look online you see several options for ways to hang your radions, but the written instructions do not mention this. They also fail to mention that while you can use the hanging kit with a rail, there are different types of screws for each method. Having said that, the look is awesome and I would not go without it.

The kit does not come with the pucks to hang/anchor the lights to the ceiling. The ecotech marine website and the description in the overview ("comes with everything you need") does not make this clear.

Purchased this to go with my XR15 Pro install was super quick and easy! Keep in mind you do need to buy you method of anchoring. Meaning you need a pair of screws and applicable anchor.

Wouldn't hang it any other way.

easy to adjust

I tried to be cheap and purchase material to hang my Radions. Didn't look right, so I bought the kit. I get more compliments on the hanging kit than the actual light. Must have if you have Radions.

Used this to hang my radion over my 30RL. Instructions were strait forward and very easy to adjust each cable without doing a balance act. The Bullet type connectors hide the screws and hold the weigt with ease.

Very stylish look and easy to install. I used 3/16" x 3" toggle bolts to mount on dry wall ceiling. I own two Radion Pros and feel the weight isn't an issue for dry wall ceiling. Just make sure you measure multiple times to ensure perfect centering. Lastly, I noticed the power chord would pull the fixture back making it uncentered. I had the mess with power chords to "push" it back to center.

I went to some hardware stores to find cable and components, there's no comparison to these kits. The push-button height adjuster is PERFECT for an even/level hang. One word of advice before drilling into your ceiling... use a plumb bob to get a perfect fit over your tank.

Got 2 radions, got 2 mp10's this is the only way to go! Slim sleek SS lines. DO IT NOW!

for 45$ i think this should have came with everything you needed to mount, did not come with the screws to mount to wall/ceiling. After having to run to the hardware store mid way through set up got everything done and is doing its job. Would recommend going with the Geismann or simalar setup to mount of off wall instead of ceiling, but thats just my openion. overall good kit just was kinda shocked didnt have mounting hardware.

Look. You just spent a ton on the light(s) Don't get cheap on what you hang them with. This is an absolutely brilliantly designed hanger. All stainless steel parts and sooooo easy to install Spend the extra $45 You won't be sorry

If you buy the radions I would buy these to go with it. They are easily adjustable as well

Wouldn't hang my radion's any other way ,easy too use and adjust height.

I know its expensive, and the light is already expensive enough - so this is a painful extra bit of change, but it is worth it. It is a very, very high quality piece of kit, and if you piece out the parts at a hardware store, you will end up spending 20 or 30 bucks anyway for something with an inferior fit and finish. I will say, the hanging kit hardware adds a couple inches in case you are building a canopy so be sure to account for that in your measurements.

I ordered this hanging kit with my Radion Led. It hangs over my 30 gal "Little" Reef inside a bookshelf in my office. This hanging kit was very easy to install and looks very professional!

This is easy and nice looking way to hang your lights.

At first it may seem pricey for this product, but after you have went to the hardware store and priced similar hardware you will quickly realize this is the most budget friendly option to hand the ecotech lights I highly recommend.
