The AquaIllumination Prime 16HD is a compact yet powerful LED fixture designed to bring out the best in your saltwater reef aquarium. Sharing the same advanced LED cluster as the larger Hydra series, this light delivers exceptional PAR and a wide, even spread thanks to an all-new TIR optic. Its redesigned, thinner form factor is not only aesthetically pleasing but also improves efficiency and water resistance, ensuring longevity and performance in the demanding reef environment.

The Prime 16HD boasts significant upgrades, including more LEDs for a total of 16 plus a dedicated moonlight channel for realistic lunar cycles. It features a wider, more controllable spectrum with additional channels, all programmable through the intuitive myAI app on your smartphone via built-in BLE technology, requiring no additional hardware. For quick adjustments, an onboard button is also included. The design also incorporates an easily removable fan cover, simplifying routine cleaning and maintenance.

This lighting solution is ideal for reef keepers with nano tanks or smaller aquariums who desire premium, customizable lighting in a compact package. It's also an excellent choice for hobbyists looking to add supplemental lighting to larger systems or those who plan to scale up, as multiple Prime 16HD units can be seamlessly synchronized with other AI fixtures. Its combination of performance, control, and compact design makes it a versatile fixture for both new and experienced aquarists.
