The Poseidon 200 Ozone Generator is a premium water purification device designed for saltwater reef aquariums. It actively improves water quality by using ozone to oxidize and break down organic waste, fish waste, uneaten food, and defensive toxins released by corals. This process results in consistently crystal clear water, enhanced light penetration for coral growth, and a healthier aquatic environment for all inhabitants.
This Black Edition model stands out with its adjustable output and patented Cold Spark Corona Discharge technology, delivering class-leading performance. Unlike many competitors, the Corona Discharge unit is fully replaceable by the user, extending the life of the generator significantly. The unit features standard 3/16" input and output fittings for easy integration into existing plumbing and is backed by a one-year warranty from Ozotech, a company that specializes exclusively in ozone technology.
This generator is ideal for the dedicated reef aquarist seeking to achieve superior water clarity and stability. Hobbyists who want to maximize protein skimmer efficiency and promote vibrant coral health with increased polyp extension will find this unit indispensable. Its serviceability and the manufacturer's reputation for excellent customer support make it a smart, long-term investment for maintaining a pristine reef ecosystem.

To save money I originally purchased the Enally unit and that was a mistake and it was realized when I spent the extra money for the Poseidon and the Milwaukee ORP controller...it totally changed the game for me....I struggled with the Enally providing enough ozone and it would eat through the air dryer media...I bit the bullet and purchased the Milwaukee/Poseidon combo and everything change overnight...its output seems much larger so it runs less...I only run it a night 10:30pm-5:00am to reduce the ozone smell using a home automation hub....save yourself some frustration and get the Poseidon!!
Worked for one month, then only periodically afterwards. If I'm lucky, it would produce ozone for about 20-30 minutes, then stop working again. I wasted money on this unit and even more on a jumbo air dryer, replacement cartridges, etc. I should have known it wasn't made well when I noticed the sheet metal wrap was held on to the base of the unit with three tiny plastic plugs. It was meant to have four but mine only came with three.
I bought this unit for my 110-gal, bare-bottom, SPS dominant aquarium. I travel a lot for work so everything I can do to reduce maintenance is important to me. I switched over to a modified Triton Method back earlier this year, and I was having trouble keeping up with timely changes to my carbon filtration which seemed to clog constantly. I bought this unit along with a Milwaukee ORP Controller. It was easy to set up, although I will say that the manufacturer could provide more than four feet of tubing so that you can get both the unit and the moisture desiccant further away from the sump if you have the space as I do. I ended up purchasing additional ozone safe tubing from Amazon to get the setup I desired. At initial setup, my ORP was measuring an abysmal 148. I set up the ORP controller on a wifi plug so that I could schedule the on/off cycles to be around 2:00 am. At first, I had it set for every night, but quickly realized that my ORP was jumping in the 370 range and staying there. After a couple of weeks, I have settled on setting the ORP controller to allow the unit to come on only when the ORP drops below 300, and the wifi plug is programmed to only allow power once per week for 15 minutes. I haven't seen my ORP drop below 340 since implementing these changes. The water is unbelievably clear. So clear I had to do the bucket test just for further validation. I filled a white bucket with water and it was as blue as any fresh saltwater I have ever mixed. I wish I had made the switch to ozone much sooner in my reefing journey.
It works exactly as it should, and I like that all the ports are on the back side now. A little pricey but you get what you pay for
I brought this on sale last month, put it to work the following month, and nothing works. I had it on 4, and 12 hours later no change in my orp. Then I put it on maximum for a couple of hours and still nothing in fact my orp dropped a few points.
Wishing I wouldn't have waited so long to purchase this! My water is Crysal clear! Looked at some cheaper brands on Amazon but so glad I didn't go that route! My reef aquarium has never looked so good!
The generator works perfectly as advertised and is built extremely well highly recommended
Overall a great product. At first I tried the ozone without drying the air and it seemed I had to run the ozone for a couple hours everyday. Once I got the air dryer It cut my time down to minutes from hours and saw real results. I wouldnt recommend buying just the ozone without the dryer. Its a must in my opinon. I ran ozone for up to 8 hours once to try to get the results I wanted prior to the air dryer. Now I run a couple minutes a day because it became so effective with the air dryer. You also need a good air pump to run this product or you need to connect your skimmer to the “out” section of the ozone so it pulls air through the ozone. Again, use an air drying product, its not worth buying unless you are running everything together.
I've been using this ozone generator for about 3 months now. Very easy to set up and operate. Use with an air dryer for most consistent results. And ozone resistant tubing and check valve from device to skimmer or reactor. The simple dial is labeled 1 to 10, which should nominally be 20 to 200 mg/hr ozone, although I doubt the relationship is linear, so you just have to dial it in to effect. I found that the ozonizer is VERY powerful when you first start it, and takes a few weeks to calm down, so definitely my recommendation to start using ozone at a setting of 1, and titrate from there based on effect on ORP and absence of effect on livestock. I currently have mine set at 4. After awhile, you'll find that your ozonizer will run less and less to maintain a specific ORP. My tank currently hovers around 400-430 ORP with less than 30 minutes total ozonizer operation per day.
OZONE GENERATOR - BLACK EDITION I think the price is a little high but what is not in this hobby this item works great, and along with my APEX and an air dryer helps keep my ORP just were i want it to be make sure you use carbon and an old protein skimmer, LOVE THIS HOBBY
