The Neptune Apex Variable Speed Dimming Module (VDM) is an essential accessory for Neptune Systems Apex users seeking advanced control over their reef aquarium equipment. This module provides precise, programmable 0-10V control for compatible devices, most notably high-end LED lighting fixtures such as the Kessil A360W, Aqua Illumination Sol, and Acan Lighting LED Lights. It enables users to automate light intensity, color shifts from blue to white, and on/off cycles throughout the day, ensuring optimal conditions for coral growth and fish health.

Featuring four independently variable speed ports, the VDM allows for versatile control beyond just lighting, including compatibility with Tunze stream variable speed control pumps and other 0-10V devices. It seamlessly integrates with the Apex system via AquaBus, which powers the module and facilitates automatic plug-n-play setup. Further enhancing its functionality, the VDM supports upgradable firmware, includes a multi-color LED status indicator, and offers two AquaBus ports for flexible system connections.

This module is ideally suited for reef aquarists who utilize the Neptune Apex system and wish to unlock the full potential of their advanced LED lighting or variable speed pumps. It is particularly crucial for Apex Lite or Apex Jr. users operating a Kessil A360W, as it is required for controlling these specific lights. For those with Aqua Illumination Sol lights, the VDM enables independent control of blue and white LEDs, alongside sunrise/sunset, cloud, and lightning simulations, providing unparalleled environmental customization for a thriving reef.
