The Neptune Systems AFS Automatic Feeding System integrates seamlessly with your existing Apex AquaController to provide precise, automated feeding for your saltwater aquarium. It is designed to deliver small, frequent meals, a known optimal method for promoting the health and vitality of both fish and corals. This system also serves as an invaluable tool for maintaining your tank's feeding schedule while you are away, preventing the common issue of overfeeding by others.

This automatic feeder accommodates both pellet and flake foods, allowing for a wide range of feeding frequencies and amounts throughout the day, controlled directly by your Apex system via the Aquabus. A key feature is its innovative "Stay Dry" system, which utilizes a sealed food container that extends only for feeding and retracts to keep food dry, preventing clumping and clogging. The lowest setting dispenses just a few grains, enabling truly micro-feedings. Furthermore, feedings can be intelligently combined with other Apex operations, such as temporarily powering off return pumps and protein skimmers, and can even be programmed to prevent feeding if parameters like ORP are too low, safeguarding water quality.

This product is an essential upgrade for any reef keeper utilizing a Neptune Apex system who seeks to optimize their tank's feeding regimen and ensure consistent care. It is ideal for hobbyists who want to provide their aquatic inhabitants with the benefits of frequent, small feedings, and for those who require a reliable, intelligent feeding solution for vacations or busy schedules, ensuring the delicate balance of their reef environment is maintained.
