The Wavemaker Guards NemProtect Flow Directors are a pair of custom-designed attachments for your ReefWave 25 gyre pump. These directors enhance your aquarium's circulation by allowing you to aim water flow precisely where it's needed most, optimizing conditions for corals and eliminating dead spots. By providing granular control over your pump's output, you can create a more dynamic and healthy environment for your entire reef ecosystem.

Constructed from durable, 100% reef-safe PETG plastic, these flow directors feature a unique design that allows them to be positioned near the water's surface to improve gas exchange without creating splashes or air-sucking vortices. As an added benefit, the NemProtect guards shield the pump's rotors from direct light, which significantly slows down algae growth on the components. This protective feature reduces the frequency of pump cleanings and prolongs the life of your equipment.

This accessory is ideal for any reef aquarist using a ReefWave 25 pump who desires greater control over their water movement and wants to simplify their maintenance routine. Whether you are trying to provide gentle, indirect flow for delicate corals, increase surface agitation for better oxygenation, or simply spend less time scrubbing algae off your powerhead, these flow directors offer a simple and effective solution to upgrade your system's performance.
