Reef Octopus Skimmer Neck Extensions are designed to enhance the performance of your existing protein skimmer by increasing the reaction chamber's height. This simple upgrade extends the contact time between air bubbles and organic waste in the water column, allowing for more efficient removal of dissolved organic compounds. By lengthening the skimmer neck, you can achieve a more stable foam head and produce a darker, more concentrated skimmate, leading to improved water quality and clarity in your saltwater aquarium.

Constructed from high-quality, solid acrylic, these extensions are built for durability and seamless integration with your skimmer. Each extension includes a silicone O-ring to ensure a secure, watertight seal, preventing any leaks or performance loss. The clever design is stackable, giving you the flexibility to add multiple extensions to achieve the precise height required for your system's needs. Reef Octopus offers a wide range of sizes to fit numerous skimmer models, including the Classic, Regal, Elite, Diablo, and SRO series, ensuring a perfect match for your equipment.

This product is ideal for the dedicated reef aquarist who wants to maximize the efficiency of their Reef Octopus protein skimmer without investing in a completely new unit. It is particularly beneficial for hobbyists with heavily stocked tanks or those struggling to export nutrients effectively. If you are looking to gain finer control over your skimmate production and push your filtration to the next level, adding a neck extension is a straightforward and cost-effective solution for achieving a healthier and more stable marine environment.
