The NanoMat Fleece Single Roll serves as a high-efficiency replacement media designed specifically for the NanoMat Fleece Roller Filter system. This mechanical filtration solution captures suspended particles and detritus from your saltwater aquarium to maintain crystal clear water quality. By consistently removing waste before it breaks down, this fleece helps reduce nitrates and phosphates, supporting a healthier environment for sensitive corals and fish.

Manufactured by Red Sea Filters, each roll measures 59 feet in length with a width of 2.2 inches to ensure precise fitting within the designated filtration unit. While actual lifespan depends on system parameters such as bio-load, feeding schedule, and initial water quality, a single roll typically lasts roughly four weeks on a moderately stocked reef system. Users should note that bare-bottom tanks may exhaust rolls at a faster rate and usage rates can be higher during the initial adjustment period after installing new mechanical filtration.

This replacement fleece is best suited for reef keepers utilizing NanoMat Roller Filters who require consistent mechanical maintenance without frequent manual intervention. It is ideal for hobbyists seeking to optimize water clarity and reduce nutrient export through passive filtration methods. Regular replacement ensures the roller filter continues to operate at peak efficiency, preventing clogging and maintaining optimal flow throughout your saltwater display or sump setup.
