Nano-Tech Phosphree is an advanced polymer-based phosphate absorbing resin designed to slowly and safely reduce phosphate levels in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. This innovative filter media provides a superior alternative to traditional phosphate reduction methods, effectively preventing the accumulation of harmful phosphates that can negatively impact coral health and overall system stability.
Distinguished by its chemically stable polymer base, Nano-Tech Phosphree ensures a gradual reduction in PO4 without the risk of leaking metal ions that can cloud or discolor your aquarium water. This gentle approach is crucial for preventing sudden drops in phosphate, which can stress corals and potentially lead to Rapid Tissue Necrosis. It is available in various package sizes including 250mL, 500mL, and 15L, with the 250mL size capable of removing 3 ppm of phosphate from 1000 liters (264 gallons) of water.
This product is ideal for reef aquarists and freshwater enthusiasts seeking a reliable and gentle solution for phosphate control, particularly those with sensitive corals or a desire for pristine water clarity. By choosing Nano-Tech Phosphree, users can maintain optimal water parameters and foster a healthier, more vibrant aquatic environment without the common drawbacks associated with other phosphate removers. It supports long-term coral well-being and overall system stability.

I got as a free gift from brs. And just used it. And it working amazing so far no complaints about it. I am using it in a brs reactor.
I attempted to use this as a clean alternative to GFO. Put 500 ml in a Maxspect bag in my Reefer 350 sump in a high flow area. It did not work. Phosphates slowly crept up from the starting point at .09 until almost 2 weeks later when they hit .37. I removed the stuff and returned to original method with GFO which returned the phosphates to their normal range in 2 days and are holding consistent. I love Maxspect products but not this one. $30 wasted
So far it seems to be helping. The quantity you get is a good deal. Should be able to treat most tanks for a decent amount of time!
