The Bulk Reef Supply Max Silica Removal Filter Kit is designed specifically to enhance the performance of your RO/DI system when dealing with water sources high in silica and phosphorus. This filter kit includes a range of advanced filtration media, such as a high-quality 5-micron sediment filter and a 1-micron carbon block, along with 1.25 lbs of mixed bed DI resin and an additional 1.4 lb bag of anion DI resin. The inclusion of the anion resin allows for efficient removal of negatively charged contaminants including chloride, bicarbonate, carbonate, sulfates, nitrates, phosphates, or silicates. The kit is equipped with a GE ROsave.Z sediment pre-filter that offers up to twice the life compared to conventional depth filters and utilizes true progressive fibers, ensuring superior performance over time.
