This newly redesigned circulation pump is specifically engineered to replace the older Red Sea Max 130 and 130D models as well as the SP 980 unit. It serves as a direct upgrade for reef aquarium owners looking to streamline their water flow systems with modern reliability and efficiency in mind.

Manufactured by Red Sea Pumps, this single unit consolidates the function of two older pumps into one compact design. A critical safety feature ensures the pump maintains proper water levels to prevent motor burnout if the tank level drops unexpectedly during operation or maintenance routines.

This pump is best suited for saltwater hobbyists seeking a reliable replacement for aging circulation equipment without overhauling their entire plumbing setup. It provides consistent flow patterns essential for coral health while simplifying maintenance and reducing the clutter associated with multiple older units in sumps or display tanks.
