Description
Matrix™ is a high porosity biomedia designed to provide efficient biofiltration for saltwater aquariums. It effectively removes nitrogenous waste by offering an extensive surface area of over 700 square meters per liter, significantly more than traditional plastic ball media. This unique structure supports both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria within its macropores, allowing it to remove nitrate along with ammonia and nitrite simultaneously.
