Aqua Natural Live Filter Media provides an immediate boost to your aquarium's biological filtration, jumpstarting the nitrogen cycle from day one. These pre-seeded quartz rings are packed with beneficial bacteria that work instantly to break down harmful ammonia and nitrite into less toxic nitrate. This helps establish and maintain crystal-clear water and stable water chemistry for a healthy, thriving aquatic environment.

Each 16 oz container is made from a highly porous, durable material that offers a massive surface area for bacterial colonization and will not break down or dissolve over time. A single can effectively supports aquariums up to 50 gallons and is incredibly versatile, making it ideal for use in canister filters, sumps, hang-on-back filters, media reactors, or simple media bags. This live media is completely safe for both saltwater and freshwater aquarium inhabitants.

This product is perfect for aquarists cycling a new tank, upgrading an existing filtration system, recovering from a deep clean, or supporting a higher bio-load. By combining the permanent surface area of traditional ceramic media with the immediate impact of live bacteria, it offers a superior solution to waiting weeks for dry media to colonize or relying on the temporary effects of liquid additives, ensuring your system stays balanced and stable.
