The Limpet Wide Flow Pump Guard is designed to upgrade the Ecotech Marine VorTech MP40WQD propeller pump by redirecting water flow at an outward angle, creating a more diffuse and gentle pattern. This innovative cover increases safety for aquarium inhabitants by reducing the risk of animals being pulled into the powerhead while maintaining optimal pump performance without increasing noise or power consumption. Constructed from 100% reef-safe, non-toxic plastic, this guard is durable enough to withstand harsh saltwater environments over time and easy to clean and install.
