The Kessil Slide Bar 2 is an extended length accessory designed to enhance the Kessil AP700 Mounting Arm. This essential component allows reef aquarists to properly position their Kessil AP700 LED fixture over wider aquariums, ensuring optimal light spread and coverage for coral health and growth. It replaces the standard slide bar, providing additional reach for precise light placement.

This extended slide bar measures 3.5 inches longer than the bar included stock with the Kessil AP700 Mounting Arm. It is specifically engineered to accommodate tanks ranging from 25 inches to 32 inches in front-to-back depth, particularly when the AP700 light fixture is intended to be centered over the aquarium for uniform illumination. Each package includes one extended slide bar.

This product is ideal for saltwater reef keepers who own a Kessil AP700 LED light and need to mount it over an aquarium that is wider than standard dimensions. It provides the necessary flexibility to achieve perfect light centering over larger tanks, preventing shadowed areas and ensuring all corals receive adequate PAR levels for vibrant coloration and robust growth.
