The Maxspect Jump MJ-L260 is a next-generation LED fixture designed to deliver serious coral color and growth in saltwater reef aquariums. As an evolution of the popular MJ-L165, this second-generation light provides a refined 65W power profile with a coral-pleasing full spectrum AB+ output. It combines enhanced efficiency and an improved user experience, making advanced reef lighting more accessible and effective for hobbyists.
This compact fixture boasts a 42-LED array that covers a spread of 16 to 24 inches, featuring a blend of UV, Violet, Royal Blue, Sky Blue, Green, Red, and Warm White diodes for complete spectral control. It utilizes proprietary technology to maintain high efficiency even when color channels are customized, preventing the significant output loss seen in other LEDs. Enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity and the streamlined Syna-G Cloud App offer full control over sunrise/sunset simulations, lunar cycles, and acclimation modes. An adjustable mounting stand is included, compatible with glass up to 20mm thick.
The Jump MJ-L260 is the perfect lighting solution for aquarists with nano reefs or larger systems who demand powerful, customizable lighting in an affordable and user-friendly package. Its combination of a proven spectrum, advanced app-based control, and high-efficiency performance makes it ideal for hobbyists focused on growing healthy, vibrant corals without the complexity or cost of other high-end systems.

I have the the previous generation the mj165 blue and now I am buying into the mj- 260 generation. The wifi set up takes a second to get use to it, but if you follow the instructions it works great and hassle free. If you don't follow the manual, you are just giving yourself a headache. I also bought the defuser shades and it really takes that led puck light and makes it feel more like the T5 blanket look but still giving led puck light sorce shimmer. I highly recommend the defuser shades to everyone. I would love to give this 5 stars but let's get to my reason for only giving a 4 star. I have had a power supply failure before the lights were even a year old. I went through maxspect website and filed a support ticket. 7 business days later still no response to the support ticket. Left with only 2 options wait on maxspect to respond or buy into new lighting. Well it has taken maxspect well over a 5 business days to respond plus shipping time of a power supply after/if they do respond. I chose to buy into the new generation tho, the growth is great, these really are the best bang for your buck besides the customer service. So hopefully BRS will get these lights to on or before my birthday as it is scheduled now so that I can get lights back up on my tank. Great light Great growth Poor customer service
I have several tanks. I have Amazon strip lighting and I have AI primes. Both took me less then 30 minutes to connect and program. This light took 90 minutes to connect and about the same to figure out the programming. What I love is the way the light looks the coral growth and best is wide spread of fixture instead of one centralized puck. I would say that if they could fix connections issues and programming to something easier they could corner the market for small tanks.
I had issues with connecting the light to my TP-Link Deco routers. This seems to be a some what common issue for the Deco and IoT devices. The support team walked me through some trouble shooting and got me a resolution within 48 hours of submitting a ticket. The app is pretty good with full configuration over the spectrum and auto settings. I have yet to track down the acclimation mode option that they claim is available but will continue to look.
