The IQ-40 Air Dryer is an advanced, dual-bed air dryer designed to provide a continuous supply of dry air for saltwater aquarium applications. Essential for equipment like ozone reactors, protein skimmers, or vacuum pumps, this unit ensures optimal performance by preventing moisture from interfering with critical processes. Its innovative design allows for 24-hour operation, as one drying bed regenerates while the other remains actively in service.

Constructed with a durable, powder-coated enclosure, the IQ-40 Air Dryer is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and can be conveniently wall-mounted for space efficiency. It operates on either 115 VAC or 230 VAC and is capable of delivering 40 cubic feet per hour (SCFH) of dry air, achieving an impressive dew point of up to -50°F at usable air flow rates. The integrated timed electronics precisely manage the regeneration cycle, ensuring consistent dry air delivery. Measuring 10 inches wide, 12 inches high, and 4 inches deep, it consumes 90 watts of power.

This air dryer is ideally suited for serious reef aquarists employing sophisticated filtration methods, particularly those utilizing ozone generators or requiring extremely dry air for high-performance protein skimmers and vacuum pumps. By consistently supplying moisture-free air, the IQ-40 Air Dryer helps to safeguard sensitive equipment from corrosion and inefficiency, thereby extending its lifespan and maintaining peak operational effectiveness in demanding saltwater environments. It is a critical component for maintaining stable and advanced reef systems.
