The IceCap K1 50 Protein Skimmer provides advanced foam fractionation for marine aquariums ranging from 40 to 80 gallons. This remarkably compact and expertly engineered skimmer is designed to remove dissolved organic compounds and other impurities from your saltwater system, ensuring crystal clear water and a healthier environment for your reef inhabitants. It represents a new level of refined filtration, surpassing common challenges found in many other skimmer designs on the market.

Master crafted from robust PVC and high-quality acrylic, all components of the IceCap K1 50 are marine safe and built for lasting performance. Its elegant “Beer Bottle” curve body naturally stabilizes the air and water mix within the reaction chamber, optimizing skimming efficiency. At its core is a super-efficient DCAIR-700 DC skimmer pump, generating an abundance of fine microbubbles. The innovative pipeless output design offers quiet operation, trouble-free underwater outflow, and saves valuable sump space by allowing water to exit below the surface, preventing splashes. The skimmer also features a unique bubble dispersing chamber for multi-stage diffusion and fully disassembles for easy cleaning and maintenance.

This protein skimmer is an excellent choice for saltwater aquarium enthusiasts with tanks between 40 and 80 gallons, particularly those with limited space in their sump. Its impressively compact footprint makes it an ideal candidate for tight installations, while its quiet performance ensures a peaceful home environment.
