The HYDROS Magnet Mount Temperature Sensor is an essential accessory for any saltwater aquarium, providing an easy and affordable way to continuously monitor your water temperature. This compact device plugs directly into any Sense Port on a HYDROS controller, such as the Control 2 or Control 4, to prevent your aquarium water from becoming too cold or too hot. It ensures your aquatic environment remains within the safe zone crucial for the health and vitality of your fish, coral, and invertebrates. Designed for convenience, this sensor features a secure magnetic coupling for easy placement inside your aquarium or sump, capable of mounting to surfaces up to ½ inch thick without requiring any additional power source. Its robust design contains no moving parts, ensuring long-term reliability. The sensor is remarkably tiny, measuring just over a half-inch thick with a circumference the size of a US penny, while the external magnet side is only ¼ inch thick, making it discreet and simple to move or clean. When integrated with the HYDROS app, it can send mobile alerts for out-of-range temperatures and even automate heating or cooling equipment plugged into a HYDROS power source. This temperature sensor is ideal for reef keepers and aquarists utilizing the HYDROS system who seek enhanced control and peace of mind over their tank's thermal stability. By providing accurate, real-time temperature data and enabling intelligent automation, it safeguards against potentially devastating temperature fluctuations. It's a vital component for anyone looking to optimize their aquarium's environment and protect their valuable aquatic life through smart, reliable monitoring.
