The HYDROS Duet is a professional-grade aquarium controller and monitoring system engineered specifically for high-volume liquid management in both freshwater and saltwater environments. Built around two super-duty continuous duty liquid dosing pumps, this device handles demanding applications such as automatic water changes, calcium reactor effluent control, kalkwasser additions, and sulfur reactor feeding. It ensures precision and reliability for critical reef maintenance tasks while functioning seamlessly as a standalone unit or within the broader HYDROS ecosystem.

This system allows users to set pump speeds ranging from 0.1 to 600 milliliters per minute depending on the configuration, utilizing durable head pharmed tubing with an approximate life of one thousand hours. Connectivity is a major strength as it enables control via WiFi locally or through the HYDROS cloud-based app for remote monitoring and real-time alerts. When paired with compatible hardware like the HYDROS XP8 or WiFi power strip, the Duet unlocks comprehensive outlet control over lights, pumps, feeders, and other accessories to create a fully automated aquarium environment.

This controller is best suited for advanced hobbyists and professionals who require robust automation for complex reef keeping setups without compromising on accuracy or safety. Its ability to manage high-volume dosing tasks makes it ideal for large tanks where maintaining stable water parameters through automated interventions is essential for coral health. The combination of cloud connectivity, push notifications, and physical reliability ensures peace of mind for aquarists who demand top-tier performance from their aquarium control systems.
