The Gen 5 Radion Light Diffuser is an essential upgrade for your Ecotech Marine Radion G5 or G6 XR30 LED light fixture. Designed to significantly enhance your aquarium's illumination, this diffuser works to improve overall color blending, dramatically decrease harsh shadows, and provide a more balanced and even light spread throughout your reef tank. It transforms individual LED spotlights into a cohesive light source, ensuring optimal light distribution for all areas of your aquatic environment.

Manufactured by Ecotech Marine, this diffuser boasts a simple installation process, attaching securely via magnets in just minutes, and can be easily removed for cleaning. It is specifically compatible with both G5 XR30 and G6 XR30 Radion Lights. While PAR tests indicate a slight reduction in overall peak PAR numbers, approximately 20%, this is effectively offset by the improved diffusion and can be compensated by modestly increasing the LED power output. A key benefit is the substantial reduction of the "disco-ball effect" or shimmer, providing a more natural and visually pleasing aesthetic.

This product is ideally suited for reef aquarium hobbyists utilizing Ecotech Marine Radion G5 or G6 XR30 lighting who are seeking to optimize their tank's visual appeal and coral health. By delivering a more evenly distributed and properly blended light spectrum, it promotes better coral growth and vibrant coloration. It's an excellent choice for those prioritizing uniform light coverage and reduced harshness over raw, unrefined light intensity, ensuring every part of your reef receives beneficial illumination.
