The Lifegard Full Spectrum Clip-on USB LED is a cost-effective and versatile lighting solution designed for pico and nano aquariums. This compact fixture provides full-spectrum illumination suitable for a variety of aquatic environments, clipping on easily to rimless aquariums up to 6mm thick. Powered by any standard USB adapter, it offers a simple and efficient way to light small displays without complex installation or wiring.
This 3-watt light features 28 individual LEDs, including 16 white, 6 red, 3 blue, and 3 green, producing a 6000K color temperature ideal for plant and macroalgae growth. An integrated in-line controller allows for convenient adjustments, including power on/off, dimming capabilities, and the ability to isolate the white LEDs or the red, green, and blue color channels. The flexible, rubber-coated gooseneck extends up to 6 inches, allowing for precise positioning over your aquarium.
Ideal for budget-conscious hobbyists or those with limited space, this LED is perfectly suited for small freshwater planted tanks, saltwater refugiums, and dedicated macroalgae displays. Its ease of use and simple clip-on design make it an excellent choice for beginners, as a secondary light for a sump, or for any enthusiast looking for an affordable way to illuminate a small-scale aquatic project.

I asked 3 or 4 times if this light could be used on a controller and keep its settings, finally got an answer through customer service that it could, IT CAN'T. When you remove power from the outlet and turn it on it will be at max intensity with all leds on, that's not to bad it's not very bright but if it's not what you want or need you will have to turn it on and off manually and it will remember it's settings.
I've used this light for a couple years now. Grows Chaeto good enough in my 40 Breeders Trident sump. It's not great, but for the money it grows very well.
I purchased these lights to work on 4-gallon tanks with plants that work very well will be purchasing.
